Research Interests: Physics of plasmas, nonlinear dynamics, and electromagnetics. Down-scaling optics to sub-wavelength dimension is one of the key challenges for developing optical nanocircuits and nanodevices. Promising data-storage technologies are especially vulnerable to defect-caused problems. More recently, I've been involved with an experiment to put an improved limit on the electron electric dipole moment.
